If you've approved a passenger for a trip and they fail to appear at the designated pick-up location, please follow these three steps:

  • Send the passenger a message to inquire about their whereabouts.

  • Wait for a maximum of 10 minutes after the agreed-upon departure time at the pick-up location.

  • During the review process, mark the passenger as a no-show.

After a trip with ShareCarRide completes, you can submit a review for your driver or passenger. Please be aware that there is a specific window of time for review submission, so make sure to do so promptly to provide valuable feedback and enhance your reputation within the ShareCarRide community.

Q13: How are ride charges calculated?

Ride charges are calculated based on two factors:

  • Minimum Fare: For any small ride, a minimum of $5 is required.

  • Per Kilometer Rate: The price for each kilometer traveled is 20 cents. Therefore, if the total distance of your ride is 35 kilometers, the ride charges would be calculated as follows: 35 kilometers * 20 cents per kilometer = $7.

These combined factors determine the total cost of your ride.
